Find your way around the Web Admin portal

The story

SituationYou have signed in to Web Admin for the first time. The sidebar on the left has a list of sections, and launch day is on Monday.

ChallengeYou need to know where orders come in, where the menu lives, where to close a branch for the day, and who on your team should be able to do what, without clicking through every page.

MissionGet a clear map of the admin portal, and a direct link to the guide for every task you will do in your first week.

This guide is that map: what each section of the admin portal does, and where to read more.

Quick answer

The sidebar holds everything: Dashboard for sales charts, Orders for incoming and past orders, Menu for items, categories and add-ons, Promotions for discount codes, Settings for banners, stores, cashiers and admins, and Support for this Knowledge Base. Brand admins also see Customers.

Before you start

  • Sign in first. See Sign in to Web Admin and manage your password.

  • What you see depends on your account. Brand admins see every section; store-level accounts see fewer options (for example, no Customers or Promotions, and no menu creation links).

The main sections

The Admin Portal has 6 main sections: Orders, Menu, Promotions, Rewards, Settings and Support.

Note

The sidebar has grown since this list was written. Today it also has Dashboard at the top, and Customers between Menu and Promotions for brand admins. Rewards only appears when your brand has a rewards programme connected. Each section is described below.

1. Orders

View all current, upcoming and past orders. Manage pending and incoming orders efficiently.

2. Menu

The Menu section is where you manage everything about your offerings, including Items, Categories and Add-ons.

For the bigger picture, see Menu management overview: items, add-ons, sequence and stock limits. To stop selling an item at one branch, see Stop selling an item at a branch or limit its stock.

Note

If your menu is managed by your POS system, the create and sequence links are hidden and menu pages are view only. Items are then changed on the POS.

3. Promotions

The Promotions section allows you to manage existing deals under All Promotions, or Create New Promotion rules based on order value, category, product, or delivery fees. Use it to set up and manage campaigns (for new launches, product promotion, or boosting sales) by applying percentage or fixed amount discounts to the subtotal or delivery fees.

See Create a discount code for your online store and Stop or delete an e-voucher or promo code.

Marketing tip

Pair a promotion with a homepage banner from Settings > Banners, so customers see the offer before they reach checkout.

4. Rewards

This section was listed as coming soon. Today Rewards shows in the sidebar only when your brand has a Campfyre loyalty programme connected, and opens the rewards admin in a new tab. See Digital Wallet Membership Pass.

5. Settings

The Settings section is where you manage:

  1. Banners: Create, view, and set the Banner Sequence for promotional visuals (All Banners, Create New Banner, Banner Sequence). Upload banners to showcase store highlights, limited-time items, or membership promotions.

  2. Store Off Days: Manage store hours by setting open/close dates and blocking selected time slots in advance for all branches. This is now under Stores > All Stores: switch a branch off for today, or click Off days to close days or time slots. See Close or open your online store for a day, a few hours or dates ahead.

  3. Admins: Create and manage user roles (e.g., Managers, Cashiers) and access permissions, allowing tailored access based on responsibility (All Admins, Create New Admin). See Give your team their own admin logins.

Brand admins also see Online Store > Theme Settings for your ordering site's look, and Cashiers (All Cashiers, Create New Cashier) for EatsVenture Cashier app accounts. For the Cashier app itself, see Download the Eats Venture app for your store.

CEO tip

Give each manager and cashier their own account, scoped to their branches. You can see who can do what, and remove one person's access without affecting the rest of the team.

6. Support

The Support section provides access to the Knowledge Base, where you can find detailed guides and information on using the admin portal features. It opens this site in a new tab.

Dashboard and Customers

  • Dashboard: charts of your sales and orders, such as Total Revenue, Sales Trend, Sales by Order Type, Branch Performance and an Order Heatmap, filtered by date, branch and order type.

  • Customers: All Customers, the people who have ordered from you.

With this map, every first-week task is one click from the sidebar and one link from this page.

If something goes wrong

  • A section in this guide is missing from your sidebar: your account does not have access to it. Ask a brand admin in your business, or the Eats Venture support team.

  • Menu links such as Create New Item are missing: your account is store-level, or your menu is managed by your POS.

  • You only see some branches: your account is limited to the branches it is assigned to.

Mission accomplished: what you have achieved

  • A clear map. You know what every section of the sidebar is for.
  • A link for every task. Orders, menu, promotions and store hours each have a guide one click away.
  • The right access for the team. You know where to give each person their own login.
