Quick answer
The Buyer gives their full name (as per IC or passport), IC/ID or Tax Identification Number (TIN), registered address, contact number and email, plus an SST number if applicable. Once IRBM validates the details, the e-Invoice is emailed to the address they entered.
Mandatory tax details
To comply with IRBM requirements, Buyers are prompted to provide mandatory tax details, including:
Full Name (as per IC or Passport)
IC/ID or Tax Identification Number (TIN)
Registered Address and Contact Number
SST Number (if applicable)
Once IRBM validates these details, a visual presentation of the e-Invoice is sent to the email address provided by the Buyer during the request process.

Review and confirm
Before submitting, the Buyer ticks two confirmations: that they agree to the collection and use of their personal data as described in the Consent Statement for e-Invoicing, and that all the information is correct.
The second one states: "I understand that after submission, the e-Invoice cannot be edited or modified." Logged-in customers can also tick Use these details for future e-Invoice submissions.
Caution
Once submitted, the e-Invoice cannot be edited. If a Buyer gave the wrong details, they can only submit again if the submission fails and the request window is still open; the request form then opens again for that order.
If the form shows an error
"Please enter a valid 12-digit ID number (without dash '-')": enter the IC number as 12 digits, with no dashes.
"Please enter a valid passport number, e.g. A12345678": 6 to 15 letters or numbers, no spaces.
"Please enter a valid 12-digit SSM number, e.g. 202401000123": use the new 12-digit company registration number.
"Please enter a valid TIN, e.g. C20880050010": the TIN starts with its letter prefix, for example C for a company.
"Please enter a valid SST number, e.g. W10-1906-32000027": include the dashes.
"Please insert a valid mobile phone no., e.g. 01287654321": check the mobile number.
"Please complete this information": a required field is empty.
Note
Brands that handle e-Invoicing through their own POS do not use this form. Their Buyers email the Finance team with their Order ID, Full Name, TIN/IC and SST number (if applicable). See How are requests handled if my business uses a third-party POS for e-Invoicing?
Customer service tip
If a customer says their e-Invoice never arrived, ask which email address they entered on the form, then check the order in Web Admin and, once it is ready, resend it. See Will Shoppertise share the e-Invoice with Merchants?
