Quick answer
No, Shoppertise does not send a copy to your inbox. The validated e-Invoice goes only to the Buyer. You can still see the e-Invoice status of any order in Web Admin under Orders > Past Orders, and resend or download the validated e-Invoice there.
Who receives the e-Invoice
No. To maintain data privacy and direct delivery standards, Shoppertise shares the final, IRBM-validated visual presentation of the e-Invoice exclusively with the Buyer.
When IRBM validates the e-Invoice, the Buyer receives an email titled Your e-Invoice is Ready - Order followed by the order number, with the e-Invoice attached as a PDF. It goes to the email address the Buyer entered on the request form, and to the email on the order if that is different.
Merchant Visibility & Access
While Shoppertise does not automatically send a copy to your administrative inbox, you and your customers can still access the documents:
For Buyers
For Buyers: If a customer needs to retrieve their document again, they can re-download the validated e-Invoice directly through your brand's Ordering Portal under their order history, "My Orders".
In the screenshot, each order on My Orders shows an e-Invoice label next to the order number (for example E-Invoice Ready or E-Invoice Pending) and an e-Invoice column with the current status, such as Ready or Processing.
When the e-Invoice is ready, the customer clicks Resend e-Invoice to have it emailed to them again. In the current version of My Orders, "re-downloading" works this way: the button sends the e-Invoice PDF to their email once more, rather than downloading it in the browser. The other buttons on the order are Resend receipt and Reorder.
Note
My Orders is only available to customers who log in to your ordering site. A customer who ordered as a guest can use the e-Invoice email they already received, or ask your outlet to resend it from Web Admin.
For Merchants
For Merchants: You can view the status of e-Invoice requests and related transaction data via your Merchant Web Admin Portal under orders, "Past Orders". You can re-send and download the validated e-Invoice.
Open the order from Past Orders (see Searching and Filtering Orders to find it quickly) and look at the e-Invoice card on the order page. It shows the Status and, once submitted, the Submitted date. The statuses you may see are:
ORDER PENDING FULFILLMENT: the order is not fulfilled yet, so it cannot be requested.
AWAITING CUSTOMER SUBMISSION: the request window is open and the customer has not requested yet.
PENDING or SUBMITTED: the request has been sent and is waiting for IRBM.
READY: IRBM has validated the e-Invoice the customer requested.
AUTO-SUBMITTED (UNIDENTIFIED CUSTOMER): no individual request was made, so the order was included in the monthly submission for unidentified buyers.
FAILED or CANCELLED: the submission did not go through, or the e-Invoice was cancelled.
REQUEST UNAVAILABLE: the request window has closed with no request.
When the status is ready, the card shows Resend all e-Invoice to email and Download e-Invoice (.pdf). Resend emails the validated e-Invoice to the Buyer again; Download saves a PDF copy for your own records.
Note
If an order contains items with different e-Invoice classification codes, it is submitted as separate e-Invoices, one per code. The status then shows the number of parts, for example READY (2 parts), and a Parts breakdown lists each part with its tax code and its own Resend and Download buttons. See Setting Up Menu Item Tax Codes for e-Invoicing.
Customer service tip
When a customer says their e-Invoice never arrived, check the order in Past Orders first. If it shows ready, click Resend all e-Invoice to email and ask them to check their spam folder; if it shows pending, it is still with IRBM.
