Quick answer
From 1 January 2026. From that date all outlets can begin entering delivery fees into their POS systems, so that every transaction, including service and delivery charges, is captured accurately for both individual and consolidated e-Invoices.
The start date
To comply with the latest IRBM (LHDN) requirements for digital tax reporting, all outlets can begin entering delivery fees into their POS systems starting 1 January 2026.
1 January 2026 is also the date from which orders on Eats Venture become eligible for e-Invoicing, unless a different date was set for your outlet. That date has now passed. If your outlets have not started entering delivery fees in your POS yet, speak to your POS provider.
Why it matters
Integrating these fees into your POS ensures that all transaction data, including service and delivery charges, is captured accurately for the generation of both individual and consolidated e-Invoices.
On the Eats Venture side, the delivery fee is already a separate line on each delivery order and on the e-Invoice. See How are delivery fees handled under the new e-Invoicing framework?
Note
If your outlets issue e-Invoices through their own third-party POS, those e-Invoices are issued from your own system, so the delivery fee needs to be recorded there. See How are requests handled if my business uses a third-party POS for e-Invoicing?
Caution
How delivery fees should be recorded in your own POS and accounts is between you, your POS provider and your accountant. Eats Venture does not configure third-party POS systems.
