Quick answer
Nothing changes commercially. Customers still pay the delivery fee, including SST where applicable, and the delivery charge appears as its own line on the e-Invoice so the Buyer can see it and IRBM reporting stays complete.
The commercial process
There are no changes to the current commercial process for delivery. Customers will continue to bear the delivery fees for their orders, and where applicable, these fees will include SST.
On Eats Venture, the delivery fee is added to the order as its own line, and it follows your outlet's tax settings in the same way as the food items: if your outlet charges SST, it applies to the delivery fee too; if the outlet is set as tax exempt, it does not.
On the e-Invoice
On the e-Invoice, delivery charges will be clearly itemized to ensure transparency for the Buyer and full compliance with IRBM reporting standards.
The delivery fee line is included when the Buyer requests an individual e-Invoice and in the monthly consolidated e-Invoice. See Does Shoppertise issue consolidated e-Invoices?
Note
If your outlets also record orders in your own POS, see When should I start updating my POS system to include delivery fees?
Caution
Whether SST applies to your delivery fees depends on your business's own SST registration and tax position. Confirm the right outlet tax setting with your accountant; Eats Venture applies the setting you give it.
